Goodridge School District #561 is located twenty miles east of Thief River Falls, MN. The district provides a preschool through grade twelve education with small class sizes and individual attention available to all students on a daily basis.

Small class sizes, experienced staff, programs designed to meet the needs of individual students, and strong community support are all characteristics of the Goodridge school system.

The Goodridge High School has been identified as a bronze medial school by U.S. News & World Report and School Evaluation Services in the December 2009 issue of U.S. News & World Report of "America's Best High Schools" which rated 21,786 schools across the nation, analyzing how the schools educated their students.

Course Changes
•Course change forms are due in the office no later than Friday.

Pictures
•If you did not turn in your class picture order form with Thoele, please turn it into the office by Friday at 12:00 p.m.
•Extra picture forms are available outside the office if anyone still needs to order Class pictures.

Girls Basketball
•Results from last night's game: 7th Grade won, 8th Grade won, B Team won, A Team lost.

Boys Basketball
•Game vs. Northern Freeze in Grygla. 7 and C play at 4:45, 8 and B at 6:00, A to follow. Bus leaves Goodridge at 3:45.

Student Council
•There will be a Student Council meeting in Mrs. Carlson's room 2nd hour.

Yearbook
•There will be a Yearbook meeting on Wednesday February 1st at 8:00 a.m.

Spelling Bee
•The Spelling Bee will be held at 2:00 p.m. this Friday, January 27. Participants are: 5th Grade: Madi R., Libby J., Dylan W., 6th Grade: Brandon S., Kathy S., Logan M., 7th Grade: Karlee J., Tyler S., Blaine K., 8th Grade: Benji W., Caleb O., Marcus A.

SnoFest
•SnoFest photos are available to view online @ www.thoelephoto.com. For the password please see Mrs. Carlson.

Staff and Students
•IMPORTANT: Look both ways before you cross the street! There might be traffic that does not see you!
•Elementary/H.S. Coaches and Students: Please make sure basketballs are put the appropriate ball cages. Boys and Girls basketballs are getting mixed up.

Parents
•Parents of students riding the bus, the time on the sheet is the time the bus will leave. We expect the students to be out waiting for the bus, not the bus waiting for the students. We are trying to avoid delaying time so other students who are waiting are not waiting out in the cold longer than need be.
•Please remember to check your child's lunch account on Parent Portal. It is available to view for K-12 students. Preschool parents must call and check balances with Andrea.

Girl Scouts
•Goodridge/Grygla Charger Dog Tags – $4 Purchase by contacting Mrs. Sundberg in the 1st grade room!

Letterperson's Jackets
•Any 9th Graders interested ordering a letterperson's jacket please contact Mr. Wilebski.


Elementary Basketball
•Girls Practice (4th -6th) will be on Saturday January 28th at 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
•Boys Practice (5th & 6th) will be on Saturday January 28th at 9:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m.
•Boys Practice (4th) will be on Saturday January 28th at 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
