Minnesota Honor Society

MINNESOTA HONOR SOCIETY Who is Eligible? Students who are sophomores, juniors or seniors that have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above and have completed 15 volunteer hours are eligible to apply for Minnesota Honor Society. Minnesota Honor Society is a prestigious academic organization based on the four principles of scholarship, character, leadership and service. To be a member of MHS requires students to have involvement in these four areas. A panel made up of teaching faculty and administration will review the applicants and offer membership to those who meet the designated criteria. Induction to the Minnesota Honor Society is held in the spring.

The first step in the MHS process is to complete your service hours. After service hours have been completed, students must fill out an application for submission as well as letters of recommendation. After the application deadline, the faculty committee will review everything and make the decision for induction.

Attached is the information on eligibility, the 4 principles/requirements to be added to the Honor Society as well as how to maintain staying on MHS.
