Charger Families,
Our Charger football team will play in the Section 8A Championship this Thursday! Please review these important details:
🏈 Elementary dismissal/bus loading will begin at 11:15 AM. High school will dismiss at 11:25 AM.
🚌 Buses will depart at 11:30 AM. Please plan for students to have a shorter bus ride than usual, as more students may be picked up and not riding the bus.
Elementary transportation changes: If your elementary student will not ride their afternoon bus route, please notify the office before 9 AM Thursday.
Lunch: Students will be served lunch before dismissal. Some will eat as early as 10:15 AM, so please plan for hungry kids later in the day!
Attendance requirement: Students must attend school on Thursday to be eligible to attend the game, per school policy. Students who miss school for an appointment must provide a note from their provider.
🎷🎸 Pep Band: will be playing at the game. The bus will load at 12:00 PM, and depart at 12:15 PM. 7th & 8th grade band members are required to ride the bus to the Fargodome. Students who ride there do not have to ride home, but Mrs. Kirkeide must have permission from a parent/guardian. Pep band members will get in for free.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23RD: IT'S HAT DAY FOR A CAUSE! We are coming together to support a young fighter from a neighboring community! 💙💛

Gavin Mason Ward, 11-year-old son of Gavin & Sara Ward of Red Lake Falls, was recently diagnosed with Pineoblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. He has already endured multiple brain surgeries in a very short period of time and has an extensive treatment journey ahead. Following surgery and recovery, Gavin is expected to undergo radiation treatments in Rochester five days a week for six weeks, followed by chemotherapy.
