Dear Charger Families and Community, We are thrilled to invite you to help welcome Donny Johnsrud home from the Mayo Clinic tonight at 8 pm! Last week, Donny suffered a cardiac arrest and was flown to Rochester for surgery. After a week's stay, we are so thankful he is on the mend and coming home! We plan on lining the gravel road between his house (16520 330th Ave NE) and Hwy 1 around 8 pm to welcome him home. Good morning Charger families! Today is the first day of summer rec. It will run from 12:30 to 3:15pm. Charger academy buses will run following summer rec - students will be home earlier than the past 2 weeks during swimming lessons. Please call the school if you have any questions, or the summer rec line 218-378-4500.

Today's swimming bus: Drop off at Highlanding at approximately 3:40 pm. Drop off at Goodridge at approximately 3:50 pm. The bus will leave for the after bus routes at approximately 4:00 pm. It is estimated that students will arrive home 50 minutes earlier than their normal time.

Urgent message regarding swimming lessons: The Fosston pool needed to close unexpectedly today, so the students will be heading back to Goodridge early. We are anticipating that the bus will be approximately 45 minutes earlier than their normal times. Once the bus is leaving Fosston, we will send another alert with exact pickup times for Highlanding and Goodridge, and estimated amount of time the pm routes will return students. Please call the school with any questions or to arrange alternative drop offs if needed.

Good morning! Just a reminder that there is no Charger Academy and no bus routes on Fridays. The only bus that will run on Fridays is the swimming bus. Thank you!

Good Afternoon Charger Families! Last week our students used PBIS tickets to vote for 3 teachers to sit under a water bucket to earn money towards our PBIS program. Tomorrow, Mr. Loberg, Mr. Bakken, and Ms. Reznicek and Jason Salo will spend some time under the bucket! Students can pay $1.00 per ball to take shot at "dunking" the person of their choice. Thanks for supporting our PBIS program! P.S. We will be sure to share some pictures and videos of the "dunking".

Good morning Charger families, just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, May 20th is a half-day of school. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm with buses running at that time. All students will receive lunch prior to dismissal. Thank you!

Good morning Charger families! Only 10 days left of school! Be sure your student's lunch balances are cleared up before the end of the year - call the office if you have any questions. Also, next Friday 5/20 is a half day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm to accommodate for our graduation ceremony for the class of 2022 at 5:30 pm that evening. The last day of school is Wednesday, 5/25. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. Thank you!

The Charger Athlete Fall/Winter Banquet will be held at the Picnic Shelter near the football field in Grygla on Monday, May 9th @ 6:00 p.m. A meal will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chairs. If you have any questions, please contact the school.

The Goodridge School will be offering a Community Ed Field Trip to the Shrine Circus on Sunday, April 24th at 1:00PM. The field trip is open to all children and families who live in the Goodridge School District or who attend the Goodridge School. Bus will leave Goodridge at 11:00AM from the front of the school and return after the circus is over. There will also be a pick-up location at the Northland College West Parking Lot at 11:25AM and a drop-off on the way home. Transportation is free for everyone and all children 6th grade and under will receive a free ticket. Adults and students over 6th grade must purchase their own ticket. All children must be supervised by an attending parent/guardian on the bus and at the circus.
