The school will dismiss students at 1:15 pm today. Buses will run at that time. If any parent is picking up a student, parents MUST fill out this form by 1 pm: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0sOQCo0SJFbS800apSCEMTPrmn0oxtyHimks3i6DGm3D-Hg/viewform?usp=sf_link Students should be picked up on the south side of Faith Lutheran Church, and must sign out their student with staff.
All other students will ride their normal buses. If other transportation needs to be made, please email cynthia.jensen@goodridgeisd561.org. The phone lines are currently not working, so please email if needed. All students are safe, this is just a precaution.

Due to a transformer issue just west of the Goodridge school, all grades have been evacuated to the Faith Lutheran Church as a safety precaution. Emergency personnel, Red lake Electric and law enforcement are on site assisting with safety and working on the issue. Please do not come to the church to pick up your child until we have officially dismissed students. That information will be shared shortly. Everyone is safe. If you have any questions please call the church office at 218-378-4191 or email Cynthia at cynthia.jensen@goodridgeisd561.org.

We wish all youth hunters a safe MEA Weeknd and the best of luck.

Reminder to our Charger family: There is NO SCHOOL on Thursday, October 17th and Friday, October 18th! Good luck to all of our youth hunters, and stay safe!

There will be no morning weight room tomorrow, Thursday, October 10th.

The yellow route will run this afternoon, as usual. Thanks to all the parents for their understanding this morning! We are so grateful for all of our bus drivers. If you see a bus driver, please express your appreciation for them!

At the moment, there is NO Yellow route (Tony) this morning. We apologize for the late notice. We are working to resolve this issue. Parents that are able to provide a ride to school this morning, please call the office. We will send a bus later this morning to pick up any students that do not have a ride. Thank you for your understanding!

There will be no morning weight room tomorrow morning.

Good morning Charger Families! As we inch closer to wrapping up the first month of the school year we are beginning to notice our unpaid meal balances increase every week. All students are provided with a free breakfast and lunch every day, but we will still charge $2.50 for a second entrée. Our policy states that once a student's meal balance has reached -$25 they are no longer able to charge a second meal until they have a positive balance again. We will begin enforcing this on Monday, September 30th. If you wish for your child to continue to receive a second meal, please ensure their lunch balance is positive. Also, just a reminder that salads, fruits, and vegetables on the salad bar are always free for students to get seconds. Please call the school if you have any questions. Thanks for your help and support.

Parents/Guardians,
We need your help! If your student will be picked up early, we ask that the office be notified by 8:30 AM daily. This way, we can do our best to have your child ready for you when you arrive, and the office won't interrupt teachers to get a student ready to leave. It also allows us to prepare if the student will be leaving during phy-ed or music time, recess, or lunch. Also, for elementary students who are being picked up at the end of the day and are not riding the bus, please notify the office by 2 pm. The office provides every teacher and every bus driver with a list of students who are picked up/not riding to avoid confusion and keep dismissal running smoothly. Thank you!

Good afternoon, due to changes to the bus routes, pick-up times have been changed. Parents, please look over the final bus routes to see your student's pick-up time. Have students ready 5 minutes prior to their pick-up time. If you have any questions, please call the school or email Cynthia at cynthia.jensen@goodridgeisd561.org

Charger families,
Minnesota offers FREE breakfast and lunch to all students, but that does not apply to seconds/extras. All students must pay for second meals, regardless of their Free/Reduced meal application. Second meals are $2.50, but the salad bar is free. To apply money to your child's meal account, you can either send cash/check to the school office or log in online at https://www.payschoolscentral.com/

On September 12th, Goodridge High School grades 8th-12th will be traveling to Lincoln High School at 8:45 for a mental health presentation at 9:30. They will arrive back in Goodridge around noon. The speaker's name is Emma Benoit and she is going to share a powerful message on suicide awareness and finding hope. Please fill out the permission form by Tuesday, September 10th or call the school for more information.
